Bass & Double Bass Lessons in Berlin
Hello, I'm a Berlin-based electric and double bass player, active in the city's vibrant music scene since 2016. Originally from Haifa, my musical journey began at an arts high school and continued with a BA in Musicology from the University of Haifa. During my studies, I started leading musical ensembles and discovered my passion for pedagogy and teaching.
With over 25 years of experience as a musician and more than 16 years of teaching, I bring a deep and versatile understanding of music into the lessons. My background spans a wide range of genres—from jazz, rock and metal, and funk to hip-hop, RnB, and neo-soul, and world music, with a strong connection to Middle Eastern and Afro rhythms and sounds.
Over the years, I have performed across Germany and Europe with numerous projects and orchestras, including Babylon Orchestra, Essen Philharmonic, and the RSB Symphony. I have taken part in major productions such as a tribute to Josephine Baker at the historic Wintergarten Theater in Berlin, while regularly collaborating with artists across a wide range of musical styles. I have also performed at renowned venues and festivals such as Breminale, as well as at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Volksbühne Berlin, and the Deutsche Oper. Alongside these large-scale productions, I have remained deeply connected to Berlin’s live music scene, regularly playing funk and jazz in venues such as ZigZag, B-flat, A-Trane, Badehaus, and Yorckschlösschen, among others.
